Loving my Ultralite CX 235 TRA just as they are. I don’t see myself going wider than these but do heavier riders benefit from wider rims on gravel? Asking for a friend, lol, my husband:)

I’m 195 – 200 lbs and currently ride on a wheelset with 21 mm internal width rims without any issue. Most of my riding is in New England though on mostly packed dirt roads. So I rarely need anything larger than a 35 – 40 mm tire, and can often get away with a 28 mm.
