From the Promoter:

Ride your bike with four-time National Cyclocross Champion Jeremy Powers and the JAM Fund Cycling Team during the Grand Fundo– a challenging one-day bike ride through the scenic Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. We have three great rides all starting at 9:30 a.m. The rides are fully supported with multiple rest stops, our famous ice cream truck, SRAM support vehicles and a sag wagon to pick up stragglers. The route has spectacular views and plenty of gravel sections. As always, this year’s Fundo will include our alumni and special guest pro riders. After the ride, stick around for the barbecue and raffle where you can win awesome prizes. All registered riders will get swag to remember this special anniversary. And your participation supports JAM Fund development program making young cyclists dreams come true!

There are three ride routes:

The Mini Fundo, recommended for riders who don’t want to be in the saddle all day. It features the same challenging beginning as our longer rides including the notorious climb up Kings Highway. With about 3,000 feet of climbing and plenty of dirt sections, the Mini Fundo should take you about three hours.

The Fundo, is our signature ride and includes approximately 20 miles of maintained dirt roads in good ridable condition. There are some steep sections between miles 12 and 20 and then it eases up after the midway point. It is a challenging ride best for seasoned cyclists. We expect most riders to finish in four hours.

The Cyclocross Adventure Ride, is for participants looking to dust off their cross bikes in July. The idea is to create a version of our Grand Fundo that most closely resembles what the JAM riders do on any given weekend. Make no bones about it, this loop is hard with a healthy mix of technical road, dirt and mountain bike-like sections.
