From the Promoter:

Atomik Carbon was born during mountain biking trips in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, and we’re bringing that island vibe to our backyard in Florida with the Rocks Roads & Reggae gravel biking adventure.

Rocks, Roads and Reggae will take place December 7 and 8, 2019 at O’Leno State Park in Gainseville, Florida. The remote backcountry routes explore the most scenic locations North Florida has to offer, and we’re inviting you to join us for a weekend of two wheels and one love.

The ride will depart from the campground on Saturday morning, December 7, and set out to cover 50 miles on incredibly beautiful country roads and historic routes, including the first Federal Road in Florida that connected the capitol of Tallahassee with Jacksonville. The ride will return to the campground for an evening of live music and authentic Jamaican food prepared on-site by a local chef. Breakfast will be provided in the morning before setting out on another 50-mile day of adventure concluding back at the campground to round out the weekend.

This is a social ride – not a competition.

  1. Couple hundred mountain bikers will be in town for the FSC race at Hailes (aka Gatorback) in Newberry on Sunday. Some of the crazier ones might come out to do 100 miles Saturday and then an XC race sunday, what kind of ride time are we looking at for this course? Is it marked or queue sheets available?

    1. David, as a future FYI, please post your comments directly to the promoter, they do not check this calendar. This event is not about ride times, it is about having a good time, over approximately 100 miles of roads over two days. The course will not be marked. I designed the course, the promoter will post it to the event website soon. Thanks.
