Nelsonville, OH 45764
From the Promoter:
Join us for the 12th Annual Little Cities Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride on Saturday morning, May 14, 2016 beginning and ending at Hocking College Student Center in Nelsonville. Various routes take riders through the forested hills of southeastern Ohio on both level and challenging courses.
A gravel route was added last year and was well received and will be available again this year! Included in registration is a Tour de Forest T-Shirt and a “start your ride” Homemade Granola Bar from Fullbrook’s Cafe on Nelsonville’s Historic Public Square.
A hearty complimentary lunch will be served upon return at the Student Center between 11:30am and 3pm. This is a non-competitive ride that raises funds for the Little Cities of Black Diamonds Council which is committed to gathering, protecting and sharing the heritage, cultural and environmental assets of this boom-to-bust coal mining region that is now home to the Wayne National Forest, and the Little Cities of the Forest Collaborative which promotes environmental restoration, education and recreation in the same region.
