The Tour de Fronds is one of the most beautiful cycling events in Oregon. The Tour is your choice of scenic rides on low-traffic roads in Southern Oregon’s beautiful Coast Range. From your saddle enjoy views of old-growth forests, wildflowers, waterfalls, rivers, streams, and mountain vistas. Tour de Fronds was voted #1 Best Supported Ride in Oregon by riders in a contest sponsored by

The day begins with a continental breakfast at the Powers County Park. The Tour is well-supported with many and varied snacks and beverages available at each Rest Stop area. A large meal after the tour is included in your registration. There is a Spaghetti Dinner Friday night before the ride and a Sunday Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Powers Lions Club for a small additional fee.

The Tour de Fronds transverses Oregon’s premier Glendale/Powers Bicycle Recreation Area, a project of USDA Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management.

Six rides are available from 30 to 117 miles long with different climbing and grade challenges.

An asphalt/gravel ride to the Rogue River/Old Singing Springs Resort. This ride is 71 miles and turns around at the Resort and loops back to Powers

  1. For 2017 rides range from 30 to 117 miles in length.
    This is the 2nd year for the asphalt/gravel rides.
    Tour de Fronds was voted #1 Best Supported Bike Ride in Oregon by cyclists.

  2. For 2018 the rides range from 30 to 103 miles in length.
    We continue to offer the asphalt/gravel rides. The Big Tree/Flannigan Prairie ride is on You Tube – Tour de Fronds. Check it out!
    Tour de Fronds was voted one of the Best Supported Bike Rides in Oregon by participants.
