From the Promoter:
The 2nd annual Tour de Liverance “Grind Fondo”, hosted by Corvus Racing, will commence on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
The Tour de Liverance (TdL) event offers 3 looped courses along mixed-surface routes measuring 50, 73, and 111 miles, and new this year: an optional KOM/QOM challenge that will add an additional 800ft of elevation over 4 miles with trophies for the fastest climbers in each category!
This will be a supported ride with multiple SAG stops shared by all three routes. These stops will be managed again this year by NICA Mountain Bike Team Cartecay, competing for the ‘best SAG stop’ award. It should be noted however as an added challenge that the century route will be treated as a ‘minimally supported’ event, with no guarantee that the SAGs will be available later into the day.
The midway SAG however (at around mile 61 for the 111 milers) will remain open for the duration as an unstaffed water resupply for those riders.
All proceeds for this event will go to help our local NICA youth mountain bike team.
