NAHBS – North American Handmade Bicycle Show – Held in Sacramento, California from March 15 to 17, 2019, the show features builders from North America and beyond. The mission of the first annual NAHBS and every show thereafter is a simple one, showcase the talents and ideas among the best builders of handmade bicycles in the world.
Meet Mike DeSalvo, founder and owner of DeSalvo Cycles, Ashland, Oregon. Mike began building bikes in 1999, making this his 20th year of production. To commemorate that, Mike built a special bike to embody the Volkswagen Crew Cab truck that he sold in order to start DeSalvo Cycles… more than likely he misses that truck a lot, considering prices of them nowadays.
