“Named after a favorite dirt road section near Cannondale’s global headquarters in Connecticut, the Topstone is a capable and highly versatile gravel road rig.” – Cannondale
“Built for smashing out big miles on the roughest of gravel roads, the Topstone’s confident rider position, nimble handling and grippy high-volume tires make it an ideal weekend tourer, an all-weather commuter, or simply a supremely comfortable all-around road bike.”
“The light and smooth-riding SmartForm C2 Alloy frame offers plenty of clearance for 700c tires up to 42mm wide, which provide great grip and give on a wide range of surfaces. A full carbon fork with a tapered steerer and a 12mm thru-axle provide a precise-steering front end, while powerful disc brakes on all models ensure consistent control in all conditions.”
“For a comfortably sporty riding position, the Topstone features similar stack and reach measurements to Cannondale’s proven endurance road bike, the Synapse. It also has Cannondale’s OutFront Geometry, which pairs a slack head angle with a 55mm fork offset, to deliver a confidence-inspiring combination of high-speed stability and quick-handling agility — perfect for tackling mixed terrain and rough road surfaces.”
“With internal cable routing for a dropper seatpost, mounts for top tube storage, and multiple mounts for carrying three bottles or large frame bags, the all-new Topstone is ready for adventure, wherever the road may lead.”
“The new Topstone line-up will feature three models, SRAM APEX 1 equipped with a dropper post with 55mm of travel, Shimano 105 and Shimano Sora, in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL. Bikes are available now.”

THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET SHELL! SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!!!
$1,650 for a 105 setup with hydraulic disc? Hard to beat.
I am currently on the CAAD X and have owned their CAAD 10 road bike in the past.
Running 40c Gravel Kings on the CAAD X and after swapping the (too heavy) stock FSA crank our for a lighert carbon set (also FSA) the bike is close in weight to most of the OPEN UPs I sell!
And a wee bit less cash! I used to love my CAAD8… back in the days I used to road race, etc.
