The new Campagnolo Power Meter showcases the technological excellence of the Campagnolo brand, boasting precise power measurement and analysis.
“In the modern age of cycling, precision and meticulous attention to detail are indispensable qualities. Following extensive research and analysis, Campagnolo introduces its latest offering for accurate power metrics for road cyclists: the HPPM (High Precision Power Measurement) power meter. This addition not only enriches Campagnolo’s product lineup but also emphasizes its commitment to delivering supremely accurate data to enhance training and racing for passionate riders.” – Campagnolo
“The Campagnolo HPPM power meter is the latest in ‘spider-based’ power meters, featuring 16 sensors strategically placed in the crankset’s arms to detect torque values throughout the pedal stroke. This data is then seamlessly integrated with real-time angular velocity data provided by the built-in gyroscope. Utilizing these 16 strain gauges, the power meter generates multiple readings translated through a tailored algorithm to ensure an accuracy level within +/- 1%. This precision is further enhanced by high-frequency data sampling, measuring angular velocity and torque signals every five milliseconds. Operating at a frequency of 200 hertz, the HPPM system offers exceptional data interpretation in real-time, as well as detailed analysis after an activity.”
“Utilizing an Ultra-Torque titanium axle and unidirectional carbon fiber construction, the crankset equipped with the HPPM Power Meter guarantees stability and responsiveness that efficiently channels the rider’s exerted power through the system. The HPPM is available in lengths of 170, 172.5, and 175 millimeters and has three chainring configurations: 45-29, 48-32, and 50-34, catering to diverse riding needs and performance goals.”
“The latest “My Campy 3.0” app makes system calibration and updates effortless and provides a sleek, user-friendly interface. Fully charged, the HPPM will last over a month and recharged completely in under four hours. The HPPM uses the same magnetic charging connector as the other Campagnolo Wireless groupsets to maintain seamless system integration.”
