Triple Triangle™
“GT’s Triple Triangle was updated in this Gen 3 frame with a longer, more robust connection to the TT to aid in overall torsional stiffness while maintaining the Grades exceptionally smooth ride compliance. We also wanted to allow riders to run more travel on their dropper posts which means shorter seat tubes. Shorter tubes generally have less flexibility so optimizing the triple triangle was critical to deliver class leading non-mechanical compliance characteristics.”
“The lower seat tube of the new Grade was implemented to allow riders extra travel clearance for dropper posts while still maintaining enough room for bottles, bags or other utility items.”
30mm of “Gravel Travel”
“Through clever engineering of our Triple Triangle’s floating stays, we are able to achieve as much as 30mm of “Gravel Travel” without rubber bumpers, pivots or mechanical features. We know riders prefer to eliminate or mitigate potential failures or unnecessary maintenance so it was critical for us to engineer thoughtful solutions to improve ride quality.”
