“Innovation is constant for American Classic. Since the brand’s re-launch last September, its team of engineers have been at work on how to provide riders with even faster road and gravel tires, while maintaining American Classic’s commitment to providing its riders the highest levels of value and performance.” – American Classic
“For 2022, the Timekeeper now uses an all-new Stage 3 Armor and Stage 3S Armor on its tube type and Tubeless Ready models, respectively. A 30mm version of the Timekeeper is being introduced to complement the existing 25 and 28mm models. The Torchbearer all-season tire now incorporates the new Stage 4 Armor and Stage 4S Armor on its tube type and Tubeless Ready versions.”
“American Classic’s widely-celebrated gravel tires see updates to every model, too. Each model retains its tread patterns, but now incorporate the new Stage 5S Armor on the Tubeless Ready range of gravel tires – offering riders best-in-class puncture protection with a drop in weight. All American Classic gravel tires will continue to be offered in 700×40, 700×50, and 650bx47, and the Kimberlite is also now offered in a 700×35 fitment. Every tire is now available with a new brown sidewall, in addition to the tan and black.”
“As this announcement may seem superficial from a thousand-foot view, American Classic’s engineers have also produced FASTER tires that back up the brand’s devotion to value. Both the updated Timekeeper and Kimberlite tires have been third-party-tested for rolling resistance efficiency against the 2021 models and both have shown measurable improvements.”
“To ensure American Classic continues offering the best products we can, the 2022 tire models will see an increase in price though they still sit well below the competition. These pricing adjustments are necessary to guarantee product availability and to maintain product quality. In addition to selling directly to consumers, American Classic will now work with select retailers and distributors.”
