C-17 – Whatever the Road
“Weatherproof, colourful, and comfortable from day one, the latest trio of Cambium saddles arrive ready to inspire cycling adventures both near and far, upon any road they’re ridden.”
“To celebrate the adventures cycling presents, Brooks has introduced three limited-edition C17 colourways informed by the hues of landscapes explored in last year’s Whatever the Road project.”
“From the seaside towns along England’s eastern coast come the cool colours of the C17 Yorkshire; the rolling hills and wide skies of Dartmoor National Park inspire the dark, earthen tones of the C17 Devon; lastly, the C17 Arizona can trace its inspiration to the sandy, cactus-lined tracks of the American Southwest.”
“What started as a simple call to encourage riders to find what lies waiting in their own backyards has since become a mantra for cyclists who choose to ride, whatever the road.”
The new special-edition Brooks Cambium saddles are:
- C17 Devon: Sand top, Octane rivets
- C17 Yorkshire: Navy top, Electric-blue rivets
- C17 Arizona: Mud-green top, Bronze-orange rivets
Saddles retail for €120, £105, and $US135.
Each saddle can be purchased at the Brooks England website.
Cambium’s are great for gravel and touring. I loved my Berthoud leather saddle, except when it rains or my ass sweats on hot days and the leather gets wet.
