About Esker Cycles
“Esker was born under big skies—rooted in late night campfire conversations under the stars, trailhead gatherings with friends, and long rides into the hills. While Esker is at home in the shadows of the iconic mountain peaks of Montana, it is the collective experiences under big skies everywhere that are at the heart of Esker.” – https://eskercycles.com
Lorax Ti
“Who will speak for the trees? Aboard Lorax Ti, it might be you. As you travel far and wide aboard this titanium steed on gravel paths and forest roads, occasionally dipping your toes into the singletrack – you’ll notice that the miles pass with ease. Thanks to the vibration absorbing characteristics of our titanium tubeset, generous tire capacity, and geometry that says – “let’s go a little farther,” Lorax Ti is the bike for gravel adventure.”
- The titanium tubeset serves to deliver on Esker’s promise of longevity and durability. Since titanium is entirely inert, it won’t corrode in even the harshest conditions.
- Neutral geometry allows Lorax Ti to be predictable and comfortable, so that you can get the long miles in without worry about the bike
- Multiple frame mounting points ensure that this bike can handle multi-day expeditions. Three pack mounts on top and bottom of the downtube, full rack and fender mounts, and full bolt-in frame bag mounts give you the ability to carry what you need
- Internal dropper seatpost routing
- 700c wheels with clearance for up to 50c (29×2.0) tires
- Double butted, cold shaped 3al/2.5v Titanium and Esker’s proprietary, adjustable Portage Dropout System
- Sold as a frame only, including Wolf Tooth seatpost collar and headset for $2,300. Custom builds are available, enquire with Esker or your local Esker dealer.
Built for the Backcountry
“At Esker, we build our bikes for getting out there, way out there. What does that mean, you might ask? We break our design criteria down into three major tenets that every Esker product follows.”
Durability
“Titanium is the go-to material that sets the bar for both durability and ride quality. All Esker frames are over-engineered to withstand far more than a normal ride using proven materials, and testing beyond the limits to ensure you get all your miles in and out – wherever you may go.”
Refined Geometry
“While the intention is for Lorax to take you far from home, we want this bike to feel like home as well. From mile 2 to 92, we built this bike to pedal efficiently and let the miles roll on with ease. With a neutrally positioned seat tube angle and a slightly shorter reach, you’re positioned for comfort to save precious energy.”
Ride Quality
“The titanium tubeset and more neutral geometry makes this bike ride more comfortably and efficiently than the race steed in your quiver. You’ll finish your ride feeling the urge to break out a map and start planning your next adventure.”
