In 2015, Redshift launched the ShockStop Suspension Stem, providing suspension to the front end of the bike. ShockStop changed the way people thought about suspension stems. Zero offset, non-carbon rail compatible head and heavier than Thudbuster ST means no interest from me. Their stem makes sense IMHO, this not so much.
Couldn’t agree more.
They stated (in a FB post) that the new post fits oval carbon rails. So on less issue.
I also like the ability to fine tune the preleoad on the springs, which seems to be lacking on the Thud ST.
I would say more like 10-20mm offset.
They are offering a separate head that works on 7x9mm carbon-railed saddles.

This looks like another great product from the crew at Redshift Sports. I jumped on 2 of these to add to my ShockStop stems (and AeroSwitch road system on the road bike).
