“No wires. Anywhere. SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips go wherever you want on your extensions or handlebar, with no need to worry about proper wire length or internal routing. The tactile, switch-like feel is ideal for triathletes and time trialists who want to go fully wireless, drop-bar riders looking for additional shift locations, or riders with disabilities seeking adaptive solutions.” – SRAM.com
“Combine a pair with the Zipp Vuka Shift AXS 90 extensions or use two pairs with an eTap AXS BlipBox to eliminate routing headaches on integrated aero cockpits. Pair through your primary shifter, place where you want, and ride. Make the bike your own.”
For the gravel-going cyclist, SRAM’s wireless blips add all of the above to their drop bar or flat bar eTap configurations. That means, pair to eTap AXS drop bar shifters (nice option for Rival eTap AXS, which lacks a port for a wired additional shifter), eTap AXS MTB shifters, etc.
Important: There is no charging port on SRAM’s Wireless Blips, which means the batteries inside are not re-usable. SRAM notes they are “recyclable”, and not disposable; “Recycle the product in guidance with your local electronics recycling program.” More info below in SRAM’s FAQ.
