Gravel cyclists and support crew will take to the Red Lodge area for 22, 50 and 100 mile races, Sunday, August 25, along the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains. Participants will begin checking in Saturday, August 24 at The Roosevelt Center, the ride start and finish. Cyclists and their families are encouraged to stay and play in Red Lodge, the Beartooth Pass and take in local amenities. Fracture will provide music before and after awards on Sunday; music and finish line festivities including kids area and vendors will be open to the public from 11-3 pm.” – Big Sky Gravel
The Red Lodge and surrounding area is known for its immense landscapes connected by gravel roads in Carbon County. The 22 mile can be ridden as a tour/e-bike category. The 50 and 100 mile is race only. The 100 mile riders will be putting in 6,500 ft of elevation gain. Races begin at 7 am, 8:30 and 9:30 am.”

All courses follow the same route with 22 and 50 cutting out portions of the 100 mile. This is a fully supported event bringing infrastructure to support the cyclists. This ride is permitted by Carbon County Commissioners, Montana Dept. of Transportation and City of Red Lodge.
