This video is jam-packed with old towns, history, kitschy items of interest, marvelous scenery and quiet mixed-surface roads. All of this madness began and ended in the town of Buena Vista, Georgia. Other towns along the route included Ellaville, Americus and Plains, home of the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter!
Other items of interest include a quick visit to Pasaquan located near Buena Vista, (closed during my brief visit), the Windsor Hotel in Americus gets a look in, as does the tourist railway, Sam Short Line, the original home where Habitat for Humanity was founded, and the Big Peanut! in Plains, Georgia.
