Today’s ramble through the countryside began and ended in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, about 20 miles south east of downtown Washington, D.C.
The short 25 mile route featured dirt, gravel and paved roads, single track, low traffic, and plenty of rolling hills. I didn’t realize this sort of riding was possible so close to Washington, D.C. The ride was made better by cool weather and light rain, perfect for my Castelli Gabba jacket and Nanoflex bib knickers. I’ll be writing a long term review about both of those items soon.
