“Western PA’s Premier Gravel Event, the Whiskey Rebellion Gravel (WRG) is back for its 5th year on Sat May 21, 2022. This year the total cash pool for the Whiskey Rebellion is $3,500 thanks to our generous presenting sponsor, CNX. In addition, the 2022 WRG features all NEW courses in Washington & Greene Counties and will be based in a NEW venue, East Finley Community Park in Claysville, Pennsylvania. As in previous years, the race includes 200K, 120K, 90K race distances as well as a 60K youth category and 60K and 35K adventure rides. Adventure rides are also e-bike friendly.”
“The Whiskey Rebellion features some of the best gravel terrain in the country — and some of the toughest, featuring unyielding terrain and dangerously fast downhills. Nevertheless, cyclists declare “the riding is fantastic,” and describe the Whiskey Rebellion as “wonderful” and “a lot of fun.” Riders will ride in a series of loops with no re-tracing of loops to complete their race or ride distance.”

Open Up Yoga will provide post-ride yoga and stretching. Aid Stations will be stocked by Floyd’s of Leadville and the Pittsburgh Pickle Co. Camping on-site will also be offered in the park.”
