On October 24, 2015, the Gainesville Cycling Club of Gainesville, Florida, held an all-new event as part of their Cycling Festival Weekend – the Gravel Challenge. A metric century that rolls over limerock, dirt, sand, gravel and a bit of single track. As is with the nature of this type of cycling, the course wasn’t marked. Riders relied on GPS computers or maps to safely navigate the course.
With over 40 riders appearing at this first time event, you can be sure it will return for 2016!
We hope you enjoy this ride video of the 2015 Gravel Challenge, in the beauty of High Definition (720p and 1080p)!

Gutted I missed this due to a mechanical issue. It’s on the agenda for next year, no question.
Sorry Kris… this event will only get better!
