Lachlan Morton: Australian professional road cyclist, currently riding with EF Education First Pro Cycling. Lachlan’s early beginnings saw him ride among the ranks of the Chipotle-Garmin development squad, before joining the pro field in 2013 with Garmin-Sharp. From 2015 to 2016, he rode with Jelly Belly-Maxxis, and took overall wins at the Tour of the Gila and the Tour of Utah in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, Lachlan rode with Team Dimension Data (now NTT Pro Cycling) until switching to his current team in 2019.
Lachlan caught the interest of the gravel community when EF Pro Cycling fielded a three-man team at the 2019 Dirty Kanza 200. Lachlan ended up finishing with teammate and current US National Road race champion, Alex Howes, good enough for 4th place. Will Lachlan return to DK200 in 2020?
In this video, JOM of Gravel Cyclist caught up for a quick Q&A session with Lachlan about his thoughts on gravel cycling, bikes and so on.
