NAHBS – North American Handmade Bicycle Show – Held in Sacramento, California from March 15 to 17, 2019, the show features builders from North America and beyond. The mission of the first annual NAHBS and every show thereafter is a simple one, showcase the talents and ideas among the best builders of handmade bicycles in the world.
Meet Scott of Celilo Cycles, presenting “The High Climber”, aka his company’s take on a gravel bike constructed from Oregon Oak! Scott covers the details of the frame including what’s beneath the skin and the high zoot build kit on this particular example.
The frame features reinforcement with fabric / resin composite, press-fit bottom bracket, clearance for 45mm tyres (38mm with fenders) and integrated headset. The fork is supplied by Rodeo Labs (the Spork) and features a sweet Di2 hybrid build kit with road-going shifters and XT Di2 derailleurs and XTR 38/28 crankset.
