Sunday, May 1, 2016, JOM of the Gravel Cyclist crew went out of his comfort zone, and raced 100+ miles and 10,500 feet of climbing in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina – at the 2016 Bootlegger 100. A wee bit of rain fell… catch JOM’s race report HERE.
Without further do, please enjoy the Bootlegger 100 from the camera perspective of JOM – in the beauty of High Definition (720p and 1080p)!
Thanks for watching!

Nice video guys. Looks like fun.
Bill, if you’re in that neck of the woods for 2017, do the event. The 60 and 100 mile offer gorgeous scenery, definitely better appreciated in nicer weather 🙂
Really great as always! Hey, how about a video/article about how you do the filming? You know, which cameras, how you control them, mounts, how you keep lenses clean, etc… I sometimes film with front and back cameras, but controlling them during a race is hard, as is managing the battery life so I don’t run out well before the end of the ride/race (especially for the rear camera). Thanks!
Hi Paul, sure thing… I’ll add that to my to-do list. Thanks for the suggestion!
Fantastic video, enjoyed it!
Thanks Al!
