April 2018, the Gravel Cyclist and friends crew rode the dirt, limerock, gravel and sand roads of North Central Florida, and many of the Historic brick roads that are located near this part of the world.
These brick roads were the norm before improvements in technology saw the development of asphalt / bitumen. It was a very different time and tedious work, laying all of those bricks!
Link to Allied Alfa Allroad with Rotor Uno hydraulic groupset, as mentioned in the video.
Thanks for watching!

JOM, you forgot that Dr. Pain won the highly contested finishing sprint (from
a stellar field of competitors) with his cunning tribal knowledge of where the
finish line was actually located and across which front lawns were best to negotiate afore hand.
I’m just sayin’
That Dr. Pain is a swell guy who just knew when to throw his arms in the air and declare that point the finish line.
His ego has been swelling.
Another great video! I always enjoy these along with the rest of the content on the site.
Many of the ride routes, this one in particular, look really cool. Any possibility of posting route files either here or on something like Ride with GPS?
Keep up the awesome work!
Would love to get the route. Is there a way to obtain the directions of the route used?
The route organizer (not me) opted to keep the route private. Sorry.
No worries…thanks.
