About the Bikes
These bikes are the result of a collaboration between Mosaic Bicycles, Search and State, and Black Oak Velo. They were due to appear at the 2020 NAHBS show (North American Handmade Bicycle Show), but as with everything touched on by the Covid-19 pandemic, NAHBS was canceled. The work of the three collaborators focused on their respective areas of specialty; frame by Mosaic, paint livery and design by Search and State and the all-important build by Black Oak Velo.
The Search and State bike was painted in a desert camouflage livery and the Black Oak Velo bike, in the shop’s colors. Paint was handled by the boffins (really smart people) at Spectrum Paint and Powder in Boulder, Colorado.
