The challenges of Dirty Kanza are unique. The searing Midwest sun, endless rolling hills and the relentless chatter of flint rock and limestone roads punish riders from dawn to dusk. To give riders every advantage possible, LOOK has built a Limited Edition Flint Hills bike to tackle the challenge.
Key Features
At the heart of the build is the 765 Gravel RS frame that will feature the all-new, expanded gearing, SRAM Force eTap AXS Wide build kit. The bike will see chainring gearing of 43×30 paired with a 10×36 cassette allowing riders to power through the flats and effortlessly spin up the relentless hills. The Flint Hills build will roll on the all-new Corima G30.5 gravel wheels and Goodyear Connector tires.
This combination will help take the edge off the punishing gravel roads.
With the ability to mount up to four water bottles, the 765 Gravel RS frames give riders a confident setup that will go the distance.
The bike is also outfitted with LOOK X-Track Race Carbon pedals which are perfectly suited for the rigors of gravel riding and provide increased support and comfort needed to tackle 200 miles of Kansas gravel. The X-Track pedals have a surface area that is nearly double those of competitors SPD pedals and this increase in surface contact area results in greater stability for the foot and a more secure feeling while pedaling.
Dirty Kanza Entry
The new owners will have a chance to pedal their way to glory and test themselves against the Flint Hills of Kansas. Each bike will come with the opportunity to win an entry into the year’s Dirty Kanza event. The eight purchasers will be entered into a drawing, after completing the new bike registration at www.lookcycle.com. The two winners will be chosen on July 6th.
